"CMAA Tidbits"

"Future of the CMAA"
Membership has been thriving like a tortoise for some years now. The same people are recycled to hold board positions every year. After further study, the board will try a "Team Management" approach next year. The organization will be run by committees, rather than structured positions.

"Doctors' Quilt"
We are collecting old neckties and scarves to make a quilt. Donations are welcome.

"T-shirt to the Village of Zimbabwe"
T-Shirts, in all sizes, are being collected to give to the people of Zimbabwe. Dr. Phil Cass, CMA CEO, will deliver them when he goes to the village.

"Party in Paris for a Purpose"

1. Honoring Physicians celebrating 50 years in Medicine
2. "The Art of Medicine Exhibit" version of the "LOUVRE" featuring a variety of mediums created by talented area physicians and/or physician spouses. All art will be included in the silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the Physicians Free Clinic/Voluntary Care Network.
3. Listen to the "Docs that Rocks" featuring "The Spleen" and "The Rock Funk 8"

"Doctor's Day Blood Drive" in March

The Doctors Day Blood Drive collected 159 units of blood in honor of 139 physicians. Our Scholarship Fund also received donations in the amount of $225.00 to honor 9 doctors.
